🤔 Self Awareness Kya Hai?
Self-awareness ka matlab hai apne aap ko ek third-person observer ki tarah dekhna — bina judgement ke. Kaisa sochta hoon, kya trigger karta hai, kaise patterns repeat hote hain, mere strengths-weaknesses kya hain. Tasha Eurich (organisational psychologist) ki research batati hai — 95% log claim karte hain ki 'main self-aware hoon', actual mein sirf 10-15% logon ke paas yeh skill hai.
India mein self-awareness ka concept Vedanta jitna purana hai. 'Atma-gyan', 'swadhyay', 'aham brahmasmi' — sab ke roots wahi hain. Adi Shankaracharya ne kaha 'Ko aham?' (main kaun hoon?) — yahi self-awareness ka core sawaal hai. Modern context mein hum yeh sawaal Instagram likes, salary numbers, family expectations ke shore mein bhool gaye hain.
Self-awareness 2 levels pe hoti hai — internal (apni feelings, values, motives jaanna) aur external (doosre aapko kaise dekhte hain). Dono alag hain. Daniel Goleman ke EI framework mein yeh first pillar hai — agar self-aware nahi ho, baaki sab nahi ho sakta. Self-awareness ek 'soft skill' nahi hai, yeh ek mirror hai jisme aap apne blind spots dekh paate ho.
Galat fehmi yeh hai ki self-awareness 'philosophical' cheez hai, ya 'overthinking' hai. Nahi. Self-awareness practical hai — kyun aap har 2 saal mein job badalte ho?
