Legal status ki kahani: bike taxi ki regulatory haziness India mein decade-long battle hai. Karnataka ne 2023-24 mein bike taxi BAN ki (private vehicles commercial use illegal interpretation), Maharashtra mein partial ban, Delhi NCR mein clear rules nahi. No formal benefits: No PF, no ESI (Rapido is 'platform aggregator', Captains are 'partners' not employees — Code on Social Security 2020 ke under gig workers covered hain theoretical, implementation almost zero). No health insurance (Rapido voluntary insurance plan ₹49-99/month, claim process bahut difficult), no accident compensation (deaths happen — family ko ₹50K-2L lump sum sympathy payment sometimes).
